Basic Info
Name:Tabitha Lowell Cabot
Bio

"And this is good old Boston,
The home of the bean and the cod,
Where the Lowells talk only to Cabots,
And the Cabots talk only to God."
The House - "The one who tells the stories rules the world."
The House of Danvers was born out of the conflict of the Salem Witch Trials. Founded by William Goode, a former trapper that had spent his youth in the wilds of Canada, Danvers rose to prominence in the late eighteenth century.

As the fledgling United States struggled to break free from its old world roots, Danvers House was there. And as the United States grew, stretching from coast to coast, so to did the Danvers.

Now, the Danvers are the only controlling vampire house in North America. They are the power players behind the scenes of the humans' daylight world, manipulating vast amounts of wealth and information to serve their own purposes.

The Leader - Last of the Brahmins
History: Tabitha Cabot was born a vampire, to Charles Cabot and Eleanor Lodge Cabot. Her blood is as blue as the oldest families in the United States, and she was raised to be a proper lady.

When she was still young, her father took control of the Danvers House from its founder. Tabitha became a general of the House, fighting the shadow battles that were necessary for the House to remain strong in a growing territory.

During the American Civil War, Tabitha led the force that slaughtered the Rebels - those who would attempt to break off from the Danvers - which garnered her much acclaim in the right circles.

When voices rose in the House for a new leader, those who held power chose Tabitha. They hoped she would be their puppet. Instead, she wrested power from her father and then used that newfound power to kill the very people that had helped her attain her position.

Under her control, Danvers House has once again turned to its political aspirations, and the decisions that the House make can be felt all over the world.

Personality: Tabitha is a patron of the arts and sciences, and she finds herself drawn to people who are, in turn, drawn to such pursuits. However, she has a keen strategic mind that has served her well in politics. She is, essentially, exactly what she was raised to be: intelligent, well cultured, polite, and strong.

Though she is relatively cool in her public appearance, with those she knows and trusts she is warm, funny, and charming.
OOC Information
Tabitha Lowell Cabot is an original character. Though she was created for a now-defunct game, I have edited some details to make her and her world completely original. Tabitha, the Danvers, and the world that they exist within are all my property.

I am in the process of writing out the history of both the Danvers and the vampiric society of Tabitha's world. For more information, please contact me here.

For ease of play, most of the rules governing vampires are probably similar to things you've read elsewhere. However in Tabitha's world, vampires are not only created from humans, but can also be born to two vampires. This is considered a more pure form of vampirism by older, stuffier vampires, even though modern science has shown that there's relatively little difference between the two types.

I am not Rosamund Pike. I just use her as a graphical representation of my ideas.
